I saw the most amazing creation I have seen in months…. shoes made of real dried leaves.

The artist got a hold of several real worn-out shoes from friends, took them apart of learn each shoe’s construction… and the proceeded to re-construct each shoes with real dried leaves.

Every single part of the shoe is made of leaf… including the “thread” used to stitch the leaves together, as well as the “strings” to tie the shoes.

The artist enjoys walking in the park and began thinking about making something using the big leaves she ends up collecting every time she went for a walk.

Here you can see that even the sole of the shoe is a pile of leaves.

Yes, they are amazing… and yes, they will decay, crumble to be just a pile of dried leaves. So at least I wanted to capture them in photos and share them with you.
